All players set to be ready for Rubi

The UD Almería players are put through their paces in the Stadium to complete preparations for Monday's game against CD Castellón. The Rojiblancos will be looking to clinch the first win of the season at home

UD Almería are now finalising preparations for Monday's match against CD Castellón at the UD Almería Stadium (KO 8:30pm CEST/ Matchday 5). It will be the second fixture that they will face at home after the draw a fortnight ago with Sporting de Gijón, so the objective is none other than to try to clinch victory and make up for the defeat in Elda.

The squad will end a long training week with the last two sessions in the same stage as the upcoming game will take place. Rubi, as confirmed in the pre-Castellón press conference has all of his players available for action.

Bruno Langa, who rejoined last Friday after having been with the Mozambique squad, is exercising without any issues, while Edgar and Gui Guedes, who were absent on the previous Matchday, have shaken off their respective minor injuries. The Catalan was suffering from muscle soreness, and the Portuguese took a severe blow to his ribs at the end of last week.

UD Almería hope to have the backing of the fans despite it being a weekday, but the match is of great importance and on top of that, very attacking rivals praised by head coach Rubi visit the UD Almería Stadium.
