Lasarte: 'We must be proud of what we're doing'

The UD Almería 'B' head coach emphasises the importance of the results achieved in the first two games against experienced rivals in the league. He considers it key that his team is a solid group and warns: 'We can't relax here. We must be proud of what we're doing,' stated Alberto Lasarte when assessing his team's start to the league in what is being their Segunda RFEF debut

The Rojiblancos tied (2-2) in Águilas and on the last Matchday they thrashed Balompédica Linense (4-1). Regarding this comprehensive victory, he stressed: 'They're two good results against experienced rivals in this league,' and added: 'Here, you cannot relax at any time and you any points you get will be positive.'

'As it happened in the promotion play-offs, we're a solid group in which all the players contribute. In fact, the changes are being decisive as they were then. We may be missing some individual strengths, but we stick together and we're a good squad,' the UD Almería 'B' gaffer explained.

The Jaén native considers that the UD Almería 'B' team still have room for improvement because the competition has only just begun and on that note, he specified: 'In defence, we're a little nervous and perhaps, we also need to move the ball more quickly.' Lasarte made it clear: 'None of the teams I coach will reach the Zamora Trophy, but they'll score goals.'

Now UD Almería 'B' will visit Villanovense on Sunday: 'In this tier, all the matches are very tough, but we're going to Villanueva to fight to win the match and try to achieve a positive result,' he concluded.
