Lasarte: 'We're looking forward to playing a good game at home'

The UD Almería 'B' head coach made it clear that Balompédica Linense, who visit the Anexo at 12 noon this Sunday, is one of the big favourites for promotion. Season-ticket holders have free access

UD Almería 'B' are preparing to face their Segunda RFEF home debut as they hope to perform well despite the team's youth and lack of experience. The appointment takes place at 12 noon this Sunday on the Anexo ground and rivals Balompédica Linense are experienced and with an old acquaintance of the UD Almeria fans at the helm, Miguel Rivera, who coached UD Almería 'B' and even, temporarily, the first team.

On the first day of the league, UD Almería 'B' visited Águilas FC, strong contenders for promotion, with whom they tied two goals. Another candidate to reach the Primera RFEF is coming up with players from higher ranks. 'They have a squad made for this division,' said UD Almería 'B' gaffer Alberto Lasarte on UDA Radio, the Club's official radio station.

'It's going to be a very tough match due to the rivals' strength, but we're really looking forward to playing at home and being able to play a good match,' he added.

Mr Lasarte has agreed with Miguel Rivera, about whom he said: 'We must recognise his work, his footballing career and his experience, which his team also have.' The 'B' team, with very young players, is still under 'construction' and the difference between the two is important. The Rojiblancos' head coach does not expect a match as competitive as the one against FC Águilas, in which anyone could have won, and fully trusts that UD Almería 'B' will go out from the off to compete with intensity and without complexes despite being in an adaptation period for the latest summer additions and due to the fact that several of the players are training with the first team members during the week.

UD Almería 'B' hope to count on the unwavering support of the fans. Season-ticket holders have free access with their season card, while for the rest of the attendees the ticket price is €10, which can be purchased at the same access door to the Anexo. The capacity is reduced and entry will be allowed until it is full.
