Rubi: 'It's going to be a big game'

The UD Almería head coach foresees a very tough match in Tenerife because, as he stressed, 'both teams want to get the first victory of the season.'

UD Almería head coach Rubi expects this Saturday's match against CD Tenerife at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium as 'a big game,' arguing in this regard: 'Both teams want to win in order to get the first victory of the season.' The gaffer pointed out: 'They're going to start the game angry because they didn't manage to collect points in their league opener and we're going to have a very complicated start to the game.' Going deeper into the characteristics of the rivals, Rubi explained: 'They are great footballers, who pass the ball well. Their head coach's idea of the game is really interesting besides.'
 
UD Almería have won in their last visits to Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium, although in the opinion of the Rojiblancos' head coach 'Historically this is a very difficult stadium,' so the Indálicos will have to be a good version of themselves to be able to score. On that note, Rubi indicated: 'Hopefully, we can repeat many of the things that we did in Santander,' and thus assessing his team's performance at El Sardinero, which he highlighted by adding: 'We can create the same chances that we did on Matchday 1.' 
 
The Catalan was asked about the fitness of the players who were injured and announced that they will not be available for this Matchday 2, compared to the previous one, Leo Baptistao, Lucas Robertone and Marc Pubill, in addition to Ramazani who has been transferred to English side Leeds United.
