UD Almería 'B' to take on new challenge against CF Villanovense

The UDA Academy prospects are ready to continue their Segunda RFEF Group IV journey at 12 noon this Sunday (Matchday 3)

UD Almería 'B' are preparing to take on a new challenge in their Segunda RFEF Group IV journey at 12 noon this Sunday against CF Villanovense at the Municipal Stadium in the Badajoz-based town of Villanueva de la Serena (Matchday 3).

The UDA Academy prospects, who have had a brilliant start, grabbing 4 of the 6 points at stake against Águilas FC and
Real Balompédica Linense, who are candidates to fight for promotion, face  rivals who have collected only one point so far. However, they do not take their opponents for granted and this is what gaffer Alberto Lasarte highlighted: 'CF Villanovense are the typical team in this division, in which they've spent several seasons without suffering to stay up, and even two years ago they were on the verge of getting into the fight for promotion.'

'In their first home game, they lost 0-3 but it is a misleading result because they conceded the first two goals from penalties. Then, they tied away, so now I'm sure they want to get rid of the pain of that defeat.'

UD Almería 'B', who face one of the longest journeys of the current season, will try to keep up the good work as the previous two fixtures, in which they knew how to compete while also tested their ability to react because against FC Águilas and against Balompédica Linense, the lads had to come back from behind. That is why Mr Lasarte made it clear: 'This has only just begun and we have got room for improvement,' pointing out: 'We must know how to start the games better because we've conceded very early and we aren't going to be able to turn the results around.'
