UD Almería Women ready for exciting curtain-raiser at home

The Rojiblancas host Real Betis Women 'B' at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium at 12 noon on Sunday. The Club and its Foundation will pay tribute to former players Chelo and Mati

This Sunday, UD Almería Women will play the second fixture within Tercera RFEF Group V against Betis Balompié Women 'B' at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium. It is going to be an exciting match because apart from the visit of the Bético girls side, the Club and its Foundation are going to pay a visit to former players Consuelo Alcázar Salmerón aka Chelo and Matilde Vallejo Magdalena aka Mati, who were pioneers in UD Almería women's football and started the women's team project.

In addition, the UD Almería Women 'B' and under-16s teams will also be presented, so the incentives will be numerous and very emotional, especially with the more than well-deserved tribute.

As for the match, the Indálicas are not going to have a very difficult time against Real Betis Women 'B', but they have options to stand up to them, make things difficult for them and try to win. On Matchday 1, the UDA girls were narrowly defeated by Alhama de Murcia (1-0), while the Béticas beat Cádiz CF Women 3-1.
