What a great debut for UD Almería 'B' at home in their Segunda RFEF debut! They had already tied on Matchday 1 on the Águilas FC pitch..and now they beat experienced side Real Balompédica Linense in a match that, to make matters worse, the young Indálicos had to come back from behind after trailing 0-1.
Four points, out of a possible six, to begin with, is not bad at all; quite the opposite. Adversaries with enormous potential whose objective is promotion were visiting the Anexo pitch. This circumstance was a serious handicap for Alberto Lasarte's youth team, but at the same time, it was also a challenge. It was key to play without worries and know how to compete fiercely.
And so it was although the beginnings did not reflect it. After 8 minutes, 'La Balona' were ahead and it seemed that the match could be a nightmare for UD Almería 'B'. However, they knew how to focus and react, regaining momentum during the encounter.
Shortly before the break, UD Almería 'B' levelled things up, and a few minutes after the restart they turned the score around. Two key moments for a squad that was solid at the back and knew how to play their tricks because with the 2-1 score, they had the speed to shock their rivals on the counter-attack and end up beating them. The team are inexperienced, no; but they play good football.
